One of the difficult events that many face in life is when a marriage or civil partnership is no longer working and the couple decide to obtain a divorce. One of the most important things that must be in place in order to proceed with an amicable, fast and inexpensive divorce is agreement between the couple that they do not want to contest the divorce.

Another complication is the amount and arrangement of the marital assets, whilst never easy, it can be far simpler to part if you have few assets shared between yourself and your partner and can easily decide how these assets will be split between you.
